FLIP
Pancake Breakfasts are a perennial favorite in Varna. We can start serving breakfast again if we have volunteers. As a volunteer you could spend an hour ordering supplies, work with others to set tables, join the kitchen crew for a couple of hours, or (everyone's favorite!) help with clean up. Volunteers get free breakfast. Add your name to the list by calling Simon: 607- 227-0858

The Varna News is mailed to over 500 residences and businesses in Varna. Four times a year, the newsletter brings the community up to date on local projects and announces upcoming events. Prepping for bulk mailing can be done in a group or at home, sitting, standing or even lying in bed! Sounds like something you can do? Call: 607-272-2658 and leave a message.
Ithaca College students helped out with an issue of the the Varna News.
Money is always a BIG help! We have insurance bills;
contracts for pest control, refrigeration maintenance, snow plowing, trash collection; utility bills, and more. Thanks for any amount you can give!

Being a member of a VCA committee is a great way to take a deeper dive into what goes on in Varna.

Property Management: Whether it's helping with repairs or setting up maintenance appointments, as part of this hands-on group, you'll learn about the VCA's property inside and out. This committee keeps our the Community Center safe and attractive for all activities that happen here.

Program: Help plan educational and fun activities for the community. Would you like a family games night? A book club? Something else? This group will make it happen.

Fundraising: This committee brings in support for everything the VCA does. Do you like to write? Grant applications are basically well-told stories! Can you write a thank you note? A thoughtful note encourages people to give again. We'll show you how!
