A Mutual Aid Tompkins free food cupboard is available 24/7 in front of the Varna Community Center at 943 Dryden Rd. Ithaca NY. Take what you need, contribute what you can. Food and personal care items only, please!

Project LEAD participants helped out at the Community Center recently. They prepped 500+ newsletters for mailing, organized VASP supplies, and did other helpful jobs! Project LEAD is a youth employment initiative sponsored by the Dryden Recreation and Youth Commission. It is run through Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Rural Youth Services and staffed by the Program Manager, Patrick Lynch. Project LEAD helps youth understand and develop the skills they will need to be successful in the workplace.
